How much memory do I need for my server?
Memory is very important for selecting the right package. Memory is used to load in all important assets for your server, such as plugins, worlds and mods. Generally, a good rule of thumb is to look at 3 things. These 3 things are the version, the plugins and mods, and the amount of world and their sizes. When looking at the version, the advised packages for each version are listed on the packages. These packages will be enough for most people. If however, you have a lot of plugins, or a big world, then looking at bigger packages is advised. If you are still not sure, you can always open a live chat, or join our Discord. And we will help you make the right decision.
What kind of DDoS Protection do you have?
We use different layers of protection in order to secure your server against DDoS Attacks. First of all, all our Minecraft traffic goes through a reverse proxy. This server hides the address of the backend, and it also blocks most of the more advanced bot attacks. Then, it enters Combahton’s routers where the traffic gets passed through specifically created game filters. Once through these filters from Combahton, it will arrive at your server.
